Lake Taylor Transitional Care Hospital announced today that it raised nearly $7,000 during its Annual Fashion Show to benefit the hospital services and programs. Held Saturday, September 26th, at the Norfolk Yacht and Country Club, the sold out event featured the latest fall fashions from Lili’s of Ghent. As more than 325 attendees observed, the group of models, which included hospital staff and volunteers as well as professional models, showed off their style as they paraded down the catwalk and around the banquet room. During the show, attendees were also provided lunch as well an opportunity to take part in a silent auction and luxury raffle donated by various local businesses and individuals.
"This event has proven to be a hit over the years for our hospital Auxiliary, staff and guests,” said Thomas Orsini, president and CEO of Lake Taylor Transitional Care Hospital. “We’re grateful for all that attend and show their support to Lake Taylor.”
The Annual Fashion Show is just one of a number of fundraising events Lake Taylor Transitional Care Hospital holds throughout the year. In December, the Auxiliary will hold their annual “Love Light Tree” ornament dedication, which offers an opportunity to honor and remember family, friends, and loved ones.
