WHO: Tidewater Harley Owners Group & Blue Knights VA V with Southside Harley-Davidson (Up to 100 riders) supporting the respective Chapters
WHAT: 15th annual “Ride for the Children” at Lake Taylor Transitional Care Hospital
sponsored by Southside Harley-Davidson. Each rider selects an angel from the tree at Southside Harley-Davidson and brings the gifts the day of the ride. The gifts will help brighten the holidays for a child in need.
WHERE: Starting Point: Southside Harley-Davidson, 385 N. Witchduck Rd., Virginia Beach, VA, 23462.
End Point: Lake Taylor Transitional Care Hospital, 1309 Kempsville Road, Norfolk, VA 23502, Participants will ride to the hospital on Virginia Beach Blvd. (westbound) escorted by the City of Norfolk police.
WHEN: Sunday, December 13, 2015. Registration begins 8 a.m. at Southside Harley-Davidson. Motorcycle departures begin at 9 a.m. Estimated arrival time at Lake Taylor: 9:15 a.m. All festivities will end no later than 11 a.m.
WHY: The annual “Ride for the Children” benefits Lake Taylor’s pediatric unit by helping to fund much-needed medical equipment, supplies and special programs.
HOW: Interested participants are asked to make a charitable contribution or pick out an angel for Lake Taylor Transitional Care Hospital at Southside Harley-Davidson.
