Recognized as one of Virginia’s Top Four nursing facilities; Only Hampton Roads facility with 150+ beds in the state’s Top 10

NORFOLK, VA – December 2024 — Lake Taylor Transitional Care Hospital, (Lake Taylor) has once again been recognized on Newsweek’s Best Nursing Homes (>150 bed facilities) for 2025. This prestigious award is presented by Newsweek and Statista Inc., the world-leading statistics portal and industry ranking provider. The awards list can currently be viewed on the Newsweek’s website.

The America’s Best Nursing Homes 2025 ranking lists the nation’s leading nursing homes in the 25 states with the highest number of facilities according to the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services(CMS). The evaluation is based on four data sources: CMS Quality Metrics; National Online Survey of thousands of medical professionals (June to July 2024); Accreditation Data according to The Joint Commission and Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities; and Google Reviews, as a proxy for resident satisfaction.
