What type of insurance do you accept?
Lake Taylor’s services are covered by most managed health care organizations, group medical and worker’s compensation plans. We are Medicare-certified and our working knowledge of the ever-changing regulations is extensive. We accept Medicare and Medicaid, as well as most third-party insurance plans. Our business office files directly with most insurance companies.
Do I need a referral to be admitted to Lake Taylor?
No. However, referrals can come from family, physicians, insurance representatives, case managers, discharge planners and social workers.
Can I tour the facility before my family member comes to the hospital?
Of course. We welcome family and friends of our patients to visit, before and during their stay. To arrange a tour, call 757-461-5001, ext. 475.
Does the hospital have a representative that will speak at my organization’s meeting?
We have a "Speaker’s Bureau" that we developed specifically to meet the public’s need for updated information on important health care issues.
