Board of Commissioners
The Hospital Authority of Norfolk Board, formed in 1988, is comprised of 11 community leaders appointed by the mayor of Norfolk. Each Commission member serves on a voluntary basis and receives no form of compensation for their hours of dedicated service. The Board of Commissioners meets the fourth Wednesday of each month at 8:00 A.M. in the Lake Taylor Board Room.
The leadership of the Authority is determined through the annual nomination and election of officers. Members of the Board nominate and elect members to serve in the capacities of Chair, Vice Chair, Treasurer and Secretary.
