The Lake Taylor Foundation congratulates Eleanor F. Bradshaw on 30 years of service
This year marks the 30th anniversary of the Norfolk Hospital Authority, created by City Council in 1988. Lake Taylor Transitional Care Hospital and Lake Taylor Foundation will formally observe this anniversary later this year.

Meanwhile, we celebrate Eleanor F. Bradshaw for her 30 years of volunteer leadership to the Hospital’s mission.
From her association with Lake Taylor as co-chair of the Citizens Task Force in 1987, and her advocacy for the hospital to remain independent, as founding chair of the Norfolk Hospital Authority’s Board of Commissioners, through the uncertain years of the independent organization’s financial challenges, and in a later role as part-time Director of Government Relations and her current role as a Foundation Board member, Eleanor “Sugar” Bradshaw has helped nurture the facility, and its staff into what it is today — Lake Taylor Transitional Care Hospital.
A grateful community-based and volunteer-led healthcare organization offers its appreciation with a simple, “Thank you, Eleanor!”
